Dr. Frey is the founder and Clinical Director of Cranberry Psychological Center. He earned his undergraduate degree at Duquesne University and his Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. He earned his second Master's degree and Ph.D. in Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. Prior to private practice, Dr. Frey was the Director of Outpatient Services for Indiana County, a psychologist at the Shuman Juvenile Detention Center in Pittsburgh and the Irene Stacy Community Medical Health Clinic in Butler. With more than 15 years of experience as a practicing psychologist, Dr. Frey specializes in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief, and marital and family therapy. He utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy with an interactive format.
Dr. Frey is a member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association and the Employee Assistance Professional Association.
Pamela graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in psychology from Western Michigan University, and earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from West Virginia University. She performed her internship at J.F. Kennedy Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital and also worked in the psychiatric clinic at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining our practice, Pamela was the Unit Manager for Mercy Behavior Health. She has also managed an outpatient psychiatric clinic, a school based therapy program, and developed and managed a wraparound program for children and adolescents. She provides individual therapy for adults, children and adolescents.
Dr. Fischbach received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and performed his residency in psychiatry at the University of Colorado Health Services Center. He is a board certified psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has extensive experience in the managed care environment and is currently the Vice President of Medical Services for Magellan Behavioral Health, where is primary focus is Quality Improvement. Working closely with primary care physicians to improve overall medical care, Dr. Fischbach provides psychopharmacological treatment for patients aged 14 years through adults.
Marie is a licensed psychotherapist with a Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Marie also has an undergraduate degree in Secondary Teaching of English from Seton Hill College.
Marie provides individual, marital, child and adolescent therapy to clients aged 6 years to elderly. She treats persons diagnosed with a variety of illnesses including post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive/compulsive disorder, and depression, phobias and adjustment issues. She also provides education for coping skills, parenting skills, anger management and meditation techniques.
Marc Kaplan, a licensed psychologist, earned his Master's Degree from Duquesne University. He has worked in a variety of public and private settings, including community mental health centers, employee assistance programs and private practice. Areas of specialty include child and adolescent therapy and marital therapy.
Sally graduated with her Master's degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition, she has specialized training in Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACOA), codependency, and women's issues. Sally has over twenty years of experience treating adults with addiction, depressive issues, anxiety and marriage counseling.
Carl received his Mater's degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. He works with adolescents and adults with a variety of issues, but does have specific experience with alcohol and chemical dependency. Carl provides individual and couples and group therapy. He has facilitated therapy groups for thought and mood disorders and substance abuse recovery.
Sheila is a licensed social worker who received her Master's degree from West Virginia University. Her areas of expertise include mood disorders, codependency/addiction, women's issues and trauma. She has extensive experience with individual, group, adolescent, marital and family counseling as well as crisis intervention. Sheila is also a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) and is a Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC).
Dr. Mukherjee compliments our staff by treating clients aged 12 years to adult. He has experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, chemical dependency, geriatric and emergency psychiatry. In addition to our practice, Dr. Mukherjee is the Vice Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Mercy Hospital, providing inpatient consults as well as practicing in their Outpatient Clinic and Mercy Behavioral Health. Prior to the closure of St. Francis Hospital, Dr. Mukherjee worked in the Intensive Partial Program and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit, Emergency Psychiatric Unit, and Outpatient Clinic at St. Francis Hospital.
Dr. Paul Pitts received his Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. A licensed psychotherapist with more than 15 years experience, Dr. Pitts has worked with adult clients aged 18 years and older, who have a wide range of emotional problems and situational difficulties. Using a combination of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches, Dr. Pitts assesses each client and identifies specific goals, which are achieved through a collaborative effort. His areas of expertise include relationship problems, personal and work-related stress management, life transitions, and recovery from psychiatric conditions.
Jim received his Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. He has over 15 years of experience in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, residential and partial hospitalization environments as a therapist and clinical supervisor. Working with clients aged 16 years and older, he provides individual, group, family and marital counseling, specializing in cognitive therapy. Jim's areas of expertise include depression and anxiety disorders.
Shannon is a school psychologist who received her Masterís degree in School Psychology from Towson University. She has experience working with both conventional and alternative educational programs. Shannon primarily performs psychoeducational, intelligence and behavior assessments for school placement, learning disabilities, and achievement deficits for children and adults.
Suzanne earned her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. She has experience in outpatient therapy and partial hospitalization programs. She treats clients aged 14 years and older with a variety of mental health issues, specializing in drug and alcohol counseling, anger management, goal setting, problem solving and coping skills. She has extensive experience in crisis intervention. She also provides marital and couples counseling. In addition, Suzanne offers Christian counseling.
